Kangana Ranaut is a well known and appreciated actress in the Bollywood industry. But, there are still parts of her life before she became a Bollywood actress that we do not know of. For example, did you know that Kangana ran away from home at the age of 15? Not only this, but she was also a drug addict within 2 years.
On Sunday, her team shared a video by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Instagram where she explains, “This time is not [a] bad time, do not think of it like that. Bad times are actually good times. Friends, I was 15 or 16 when I ran away from my house… After I left my house, I was a film star and a drug addict within 1.5 – 2 years of it.”
She continues to say in the video that her life was such a mess at the time, that only death could have saved her from it. But, she recovered from this stage of her life, thanks to her friend. This friend of hers introduced the Bollywood actress to spirituality. Here, Kangana Ranaut went on to take Swami Vivekanand as her guru, and “under his guidance, I groomed myself a lot,” said the actress.

With time, Kangana continued to work on herself and improving her emotional health. No doubt, she is considered one of the best actors in Bollywood in 2020. Her story helps provide us with perspective and motivation that any negative situation can be turned into a positive one with effort.
