Initially, Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan took to social media to inform their fans about their corona positive report. Amitabh Bachchan in his latest post requested all the people who were in proximity to him in the last 10 days to get tested for the virus. After difficulty in breathing, the megastar isolated himself and got tested for the virus. After the positive result, the actor was taken to the Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai nearby their residence. As per the sources, the virus may have been contracted due to the meetings Amitabh Bachchan had been having lately for the Kaun Banega Crorepati promotional content and other projects at his residence. Abhishek Bachchan was also snapped at dubbing studious many times over the past week.
The positive tests of Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan led to the rest of the family also testing for the virus. Initially, the tests for Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan, and Aradhya Bachchan came negative. But upon the second round of tests, Aishwarya and Aradhya’s coronavirus test came back positive.

On social media people from all walks of life have been seen pouring speedy recovery wishes for the family. Bollywood stars also offered good health wishes on social media platforms.

Boman Irani also took on social media and wrote” You are a fighter sir. Get well soon.”
Union Health minister Dr.Harsh Vardhan wrote ”Dear Amit Ji, I join the whole nation in wishing you a quick recovery! After all, you are the idol of millions in this country, an iconic superstar! We will all take good care of you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery !”

Going back to the past the megastar Amitabh Bachchan had nearly survived a fatal accident while shooting for Coolie way back in 1982 which resulted in compromising one liver. From then on the actor has been living a very disciplined life that involved regular workouts and a strict dietary regime.
