In a recent interaction with a co-actor Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte expressed her non-belief in the institution of marriage. To give a little background on the actress’s personal life, she got married to British musician Benedict Taylor in the year 2012. The reason was that this way, it was easier for her to obtain the visa according to what she stated in the conversation.
The actress who is currently staying in London along with husband Benedict opened up about her personal life and answered the question “When did Radhika Apte get married?” In response, she replied “Well, when I realized that it is easier to get a visa when you are married. I think there should be no boundaries. I am not a big marriage person, I don’t believe in the institution. I got married because a visa was really a problem and we wanted to live together. I think that’s not fair.”

The Bollywood actress talked about her self isolation time during the pandemic in London in one Hindustan Times interview. She expressed that having a routine was a normal thing. She further conveyed that she ate well, exercised well, did nothing without really having any pressure of being at a particular place at a particular time. According to her, she saw many good things but not without bad things too!
Just like all of us intently pray, the actress too expressed hope that the current situation returns back to normalcy after the vaccine for covid is found. To quote her on the same, the actress stated “I don’t like these terms ‘new normal’. It’s there until the time we find a vaccine to tackle the issue. We’ll go back to normal, I believe. Once we go back there, we’ll forget all about this.”
The Bollywood actress was last in a murder mystery Raat Akeli Hai alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui released on Netflix in July. The murder mystery marked the debut of Honey Trehan, the casting director.
