Sargun Mehta, an Indian actress, model, and television host was recently loved for her role in the Punjabi hit movie Saukan Saunkne. On the work front, the actress has received three PTC Punjabi film awards and two Filmfare awards for her work in Punjabi cinema.
Talking about the Punjabi queen tag in an interview with a media channel, she stated, “I manifested coming in the Punjabi industry with my dreams, but if there’s ever a tag of Queen [of Punjabi films] attached to me, that’ll be Ravii’s manifestation. Since the time we’ve been together, that’s all he’s told me.”
Talking further about her relationship with her hubby, Sargun expressed that even now their relationship is still fresh as it was in the year 2009 when they started off as great friends. As per Sargun, both enjoy each other’s success as their own and are respectful of each other’s dreams and happiness.
Sargun is soon going to take a plunge into a Bollywood movie opposite Akshay Kumar. Talking about her experience to date, she shared that she did get a lot of Bollywood movie offers but there wasn’t much for her to do in them. She always wanted to do a film where there was a good part for her to perform and not just be a sidekick.
