Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is known as the Nightingale of India due to her versatile singing talent. Her fans are heartbroken to hear that the veteran singer passed away on February 6th.
Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital due to having tested positive for COVID-19. During her time at the hospital, it was found that she also had pneumonia. She was admitted with mild symptoms and was recovering slowly.
As per reports, she was taken off of the ventilator on January 28th and was slowly working towards getting better. But, her health deteriorated on February 5th and was put back onto the ventilator. As per The Times of India, “Since her condition was critical, the veteran singer was put under aggressive therapy and was tolerating the procedures before her unfortunate demise.”
She is a singer who will truly been missed and her talent is an inspiration for singers across the country. We wish that she Rests in Peace and are truly saddened by her loss.
