Good Newwz Story
Good Newwz talks about the concept of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) as an alternative for the couples who can’t conceive through the normal procedure. The movie opens up with the high flying posh first Batra couple, Deepti (Kareena Kapoor) and Varun (Akshay Kumar). Deepti more than her husband had set her heart and soul over conceiving after much prodding by their family members and her middle age. We have hilarious scenes of the couple fighting a battle in the bedroom to forcefully conceive a baby which eventually doesn’t happen that way. Through their close relatives, they are told about the best maternity specialist in town, who eventually suggests them the route of IVF.
It is at this point in the movie do we meet the second “Batra” couple, Honey (Diljeet Dosanjh) and Monika (Kiara Advani). This loud blingy Punjabi couple is also suggested the same fertilization route. After undergoing the IVF procedure, both the Batras are told about the unfortunate sperm mix and this is where the hilarious goof-up of the movie begins!

Just like any Bollywood movie we have scenes of comedy and heavy emotions wherein we see the couple getting involved in each others’ lives and the ensuing drama. This family entertainer does its best job of keeping the audience glued to it. Here we have the perfect proportion of light-hearted elements along with heavy emotions.
