The accident took place in New York, and a representative of the rapper confirmed the news with Billboard. This news was also confirmed by a spokesperson from Nassau County Police Department. He was 64 years old.
Nicki Minaj’s Father Dies
As per reports, Robert Maraj was walking in the roadway and was hit by a vehicle going northbound around 6 pm on Friday, February 12th. The accident took place on Roslyn Road at the intersection of Raff Avenue in Mineola, New York. The vehicle fled the scene, and law enforcement is working on identifying the vehicle and the driver.
Nicki Minaj’s father was rushed to the hospital, where he was in critical condition due to the accident. He passed away a day later.
