Tip 1: Invest in Air Purifiers
Air purifiers are a great investment for the home and office when pollution levels are off the charts. By using one in a room and making sure the doors are closed, you can help improve the air quality of the room.
Tip 2: Wear Face Masks Outside
When leaving the house, make sure to have an effective face mask on that blocks out some (if not all) of the pollution. This helps make the air you breath in cleaner.
Tip 3: Keep the Air Conditioning On When Possible
Many air conditioners have filters installed in them. Hence, by running an air conditioner, you can have the air filtered for some of the pollutants.
Tip 4: Conduct a Pollution Check for Your Car
Exhaust from car pipes a big contributor to air pollution. By having your car regularly checked and maintained to reduce car exhaust, we can all do our part to make sure the air of our city remains clean.
Tip 5: Dust and Clean Regularly
By regularly dusting and cleaning, you can prevent any pollutants from accumulating in your house.
Tip 6: Keep Your Windows and Doors Closed
Another way to tackle air pollution is to keep the windows and doors of your home closed. This way, the outside pollution doesn’t keep coming into the house.
Tip 7: Invest in Plants (Indoor and Outdoor)
Plants are a great way to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air and replace it with oxygen. That way, by investing in house plants can help improve the air quality inside and outside your house.
