On Thursday morning, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha released a joint statement on social media that they plan to separate. In the evening, Kanika Dhillon and announces her separation from Prakash Kovelamudi.

Kanika Dhillon and Prakash Kovelamudi Parting Ways
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and publicly announced that they will be parting ways on 1st August 2019. Kanika Dhillon goes on to say that this is not a decision they made recently and that their movie JudgeMental Hai Kya has nothing to do with it. In fact, they had already planned to part ways before they started working on the movie. This decision was made in the year 2017.

Is there a link between the separation of Dia Mirza/Sahil Sangha and Kanika Dhillon/Prakash Kovelamudi?
The fact that both couples announced their separation on the same day has given birth to speculations that the reason behind this may be linked. As per reports received by News18, the closeness between Sahil Sangha and Kanika Dhillon led to problems in the respective relationships. Also, reports have also mentioned that Dia Mirza has had “amazing chemistry” with Mohit Raina. Mohit Raina and Dia Mirza work together for Zee5’s Kaafir.
But, Dia Mirza has gone on record to clarify that Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha have never met Kanika Dhillon and Prakash Kovelamudi. Hence, the speculations that the two divorces being linked to each other are baseless.
