Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut Called Brahmastra a “Disaster”
As the movie opened with mixed reviews from critics and fans, Kangana accused the filmmaker of selling a lie. She went on to express that Bollywood can go to any extent to promote their films, she hinted their involvement in Kamaal R. Khan’s recent arrest.
Kanagana Ranaut took a direct dig at the movie Brahamastra along with its directors and the actors involved. Taking to her Instagram profile, the actress wrote, “Everyone who called @ayan_mukerji a genius should be jailed immediately.” She went on to say that “Burnt down 600 crores to ashes…Also tried to exploit religious sentiments.”
Further in the post she also criticized Karan Johar. The actress had blamed him for buying reviews, stars, fake collection numbers and tickets. Kangana shared a screenshot of a negative review of the film by trade analyst Sumit Kadel’s Twitter profile on her social media account. There she wrote: “This is what happens when you try to sell a lie, @karanjohar in every show forces people to call @aliabhatt and Ranbir best actors and @ayan_mukerji a genius…slowly he started to believe this lie…” She ended her note by calling Brahmastra a “disaster” and that movie mafia are taking over studios in India.
