In season 14, the first runner-up was Rahul Vaidya. Rahul Vaidya – also known as RKV – is an Indian singer and music composer. He was also a part of Indian Idol season 1 and was the second runner-up on the show.
Rakhi Sawant Quits the Show
TV actress Rakhi Sawant entered the house as a challenger. In the finale, there was an option for the finalists to leave the show early and quit. In return, they will receive Rs 14 lac. This amount was to be deducted from the winner’s cash prize. But, in order for them to get this guaranteed amount, the finalists must quit before the winner is announced.
Rakhi Sawant was the first finalist to hit the buzzer and say she accepts this offer. When she exited the house, Bollywood actor Salman Khan asked Rakhi where she will use this money, where she explained that the cash will go towards a treatment for her mother. On further discussion, Salman Khan mentioned that this was a good decision by Rakhi Sawant, as she did not receive the highest votes, hence was not the winner of the show anyways.
