Urmila Matondkar’s Interview
Recently, Urmila Matondkar had an interview with Barkha Dutt, where she talked about her views on nepotism in Bollywood. Along with this, she also talked about how she struggled to gain fame in Bollywood that she ultimately achieved. In a report, News18 mentioned that “Urmila, in a recent interview, called Kangana a “rudali” for repeatedly playing a victim card.”
Further, Urmila Matondkar went on to explain after the interview that she used the word “rudali” in a certain context. She also apologized if any feelings were hurt.
Kangana Ranaut’s Response
Kangana Ranaut did not stand back in commenting back. In fact, she went on to call Urmila Matondkar a “soft porn star”. The actress went on to receive a lot of criticism on the phrase she used.
In order to justify what she said, Kangana Tweeted – “Liberal brigade once virtually lynched a renowned writer into silence for saying people like Sunny Leone should not be our role models, Sunny is accepted by the industry and entire India as an artist, suddenly fake feminists equating being a porn star to something derogatory.”
